Take Interstate 5 and get off at Sea World Dr. to W. Mission Bay Dr. and you will find yourself at Mission Beach. Mission Beach is on the most popular stretch of beach in San Diego called The Strand. The Strand starts at the Mission Bay channel and ends at the north end of Pacific Beach. You can ride your bike, skateboard, or even skate down the paved strip of boardwalk that runs along the ocean. There are many beach shops, beach rentals and restaurants that are on Mission Boulevard. While in Mission Beach, take your surfboard out and try to master the rip curls or ride the scary roller coaster, which at the top you can see the ocean.
