For decades the apple pies of Julian have been winning prizes at World Fairs. The town of Julian was designated a Historical District with the oldest constant operating hotel in Southern California. In 1897, Albert Robinson started the Julian historic hotel which is now listed in the National Register of Historical Places as a State of California "Point of Historical Interest”. Julian is just a small town that has a lot of culture and great people.
