Just south of Escondido is the world-famous San Diego Wild Animal Park that is a 1,800-acre wild animal preserve that features a safari monorail, hiking trails. You can have fun indoors by enjoying the Iceoplex Ice Center this is a $61 million dollar complex featuring two Olympic-sized ice skating rinks and a full exercise complex. So come to Escondido and have a good time.
