The North County of San Diego is the fastest growing segment of San Diego County and starts with the town of Del Mar. Del Mar is a narrow town with one main street, Camino Del Mar. While driving down Camino Del Mar, you can find condos, cottages, and homes on either side of the road. Most of the residential units were built between 1950 to 1980, which a lot of them are built on hills with views. Del Mar is very particular with there city ordinances such as no skateboarding, you can't wash your car on the street, and new development can't block the views of existing development.

Come join us at the Del Mar Fair between mid June till the first week in July. This fair is one of the only fairs left with an ocean view while riding the massive Ferris wheel. After the fair ends in Del Mar, you have to go "Where the Turf Meets the Surf." This is the legendary racetrack, where thoroughbreds run, people play, and all styles of horseplay happens. The track is run from late July through early September in prime Southern California summertime.
